You can apply for Medicaid, MEPD, Healthy and Well Kids in Iowa (Hawki), SNAP, FIP, and other Iowa programs:

• Online using the Iowa HHS Benefits Portal.
• In person at your local Health and Human Services (HHS) office.
• By downloading the application forms from the Iowa website, completing them, and bringing them in person to your local Health and Human Services (HHS) office. You can also mail, fax, or email the application to the location listed on the form.

Social Security’s Ticket to Work Program helps people with disabilities who get Social Security benefits re-enter the workforce and become more independent. The Ticket to Work Program offers free access to employment-related services, such as training, transportation, and vocational rehabilitation.
